Boudhanath Stupa

Boudhanath Stupa

Boudhanath Stupa lies in Kathmandu valley in Nepal. This place is kept in the world heritage Site by UNESCO. This Stupa was built in 14th century. Many Tibetans and other pilgrims visit Stupa every year. The massive Earthquake in Nepal in 2015 destroyed the Stupa very badly. The renovation and reconstruction was organised by the Boudhanath Area Development Committee (BADC). The repairs were funded entirely by private donations from Buddhist groups and volunteers. This photo was taken after Earthquake in 2020.
