Hi,
my name is Luca and I live near Bologna and I really like this city.
My first objective, for which I have chosen to become a local guide, is to find and share typical restaurants (the Italian name is ‘trattoria’) possibly located in beautiful area of the city or in little towns near to it. I’m doing this funny and interesting activity to be helpful for people in searching of delicious food prepeared with a chunk of tradition and a chunk of innovation.
Besides food, inside a trattoria you could find a warm and friendly atmosphere. Most of the time, the decors are interesting because are composed by old tools used to work the agriculture fields or by pots and pans. The land around Bologna is rural and the farmers can grow genuine raw materials.
The last important factor is the strong and deep culture for the food. We have a huge historical heritage of dishes and best practices. In addition you could partecipate at organized tours aimed to discover this culture and to partecipate at funny food classes.
The above-mentioned culture is present also in my family where I can eat delicious dishes everyday. Now I’m also trying to learn how to prepare them!
As you can see from the below photos, pasta is the main actor.
In conclusion, being a Local Guide has changed the way I look at my city. I will continue to share my food experiences but I would like to extend my activities of reviews for other topics.
