My first experience in boat trip.

I never thought that a short trip on a yacht could be so interesting and exciting. New people, new words and new meanings of old words. :slight_smile:

For example “talker” :slight_smile: The talker is a thin thread on both sides of the sail, which indicates the correct position of the sail relative to the direction of the wind.

Hi @IvanBokhan ,

Thanks for sharing your post. Where did you go on this yacht? Did you rent it out or? I’ve also been on a boat before and it’s really cool in the ocean, of course when it’s not too wavy and windy, otherwise it gets impossible to stay put.

@DanniS Thank you for your post. Yacht trip is really very cool! Our journey was not very long. Rather, it was a three-hour mini regatta. We sailed along the local river Seversky Donets, more precisely for the part of it which is called the Pechenezh reservoir.
We rented yachts as part of team building. :slight_smile:
Frankly speaking, I have never seen the ocean, but I think everything is much more interesting there than on the river or at sea :slight_smile:

Hope you get to experience that some day @IvanBokhan . It can get a bit scarier there and for sure a bigger boat is safer :slight_smile:

@IvanBokhan I love water! Probably because I live on an Island. :grin:

I have been on many other types of vessels except the Yacht. I hope to try it some day.

Has anyone tried both the Yacht and an ordinary boat, what differences were there?

@Ewaade_3A do you live on the island? It is probably very interesting! Ordinary boat and yacht have a huge difference. the yacht is faster, more stable than the boat. A boat is more needed to cross from shore to shore or fish in the center of the lake. :slightly_smiling_face: I liked the yacht more :slightly_smiling_face:

Unfortunately, I am a terrible swimmer :see_no_evil: so I don’t go on risky trips

I know right! @IvanBokhan I can swim but I do not have the time to be at a Pool often that’s why I have put it of for now that I will become an ardent swimmer after I build my own swimming pool or relocate to an area where I have easier access to a Pool :see_no_evil:
