藍色清真寺 (Blue Mosque)

土耳其的清真寺以圓屋頂及尖塔為特徵,其中六個尖塔的回教清真寺在全世界上非常罕見。

據說是當時建築師誤會蘇丹的指令,回教的聖地麥加克爾白的清真寺也同樣有六座宣禮塔,有逾越聖
地傲慢之嫌。

寺內有其中一部分使用土耳其瓷器名鎮伊兹尼克燒制的磚塊,以藍色為主,也因此博得了藍色清真寺的美名。

藍色清真寺建造時未使用一根鐵釘钉,結構堅固牢靠,外觀造型獨特,400年間历經數次大地震都安然無恙。

清真寺的260個小窗、2萬多塊藍色磁磚、數百塊地毯和許多阿拉伯文書法藝術作品是該寺的重点文物。

I have been to some mosque only a few times but what I really like is how you take out your clothes and walk on the carpet. It is really comfortable.

Thank you for sharing these amazing photos and details about the Blue Mosque. As far as I know, it is a very important mosque because it has six minarets, something which is uncommon and unique.

I’ve been to Istanbul three times, but never went inside the Blue Mosque as the crowd was huge and had to wait a long time. However, it seems like a must-do thing next time. :slight_smile:
