This beautiful ranch outside Los Angeles boasts over 250 acres of farm land owned and managed by Dr. Bill Relerford and his team of Black Farmers. We watched the chickens and visited greenhouses with many Collard green varieties. The tour guides expressed their natural pesticide practices of planting flowers and herbs to lure the pests away from the produce, and how 2 vegetables growing together support one another in nutrients and shade. Fruit trees abound with a store with fresh produce and specialty vinegars and oils. Down home hospitality and positive vibes everywhere. Weekly activities include Taco Tuesday and Sunday Brunch. You will make the trip again.

A small tip for you: in every place and review in Google Maps there is the possibility to generate a link for a direct sharing of the places

Well, I was born and raised on a farm, and I know the system of rotation and mutual support for plants well, such as combining those that add nitrogen to the soil with those that use it. Unfortunately, these are methods that many have forgotten, and I was happy to read about them.
