This section of connect is budding again which am very happy about. I love meet-ups especially physical meet-ups. I always like to interact with the local guides in my locality wherever it is. I have really enjoyed my time with local guides in the south south of Nigeria in the last one year. Some weeks ago we celebrated Connect at six Port Harcourt Nigeria We also had Port-Harcourt-36-and-360-s-Photo-Walk and other nice Meet-ups in the South South of Nigeria Now, I am in Ghana for some official duties and I will be here for about a month or so. For that reason,I have planned a meet-up with the local guides in Ghana. It will be my first time to meet them in person. I have met some of them on virtual meet-up and some we have interacted on connect here. Now it’s a time of excitement to meet them, Hurray !!!
Note that this is under my initiative of building the local guides community BLGC series of meet-ups. The fifth !!!

Time: 4pm GMT+0
Activities: Formal introduction of local guides. Map talks. Connect sixth birthday.Refreshments. Photos of course.

Hello @SholaIB hope you are doing well. Sorry for late reply. Yes I have been so quiet for a no. Of months but now I’m back and soon will come back to writing like before. Here I haven’t met any local guide yet, been indoors for quit some month plus maybe I need some guidance on how I can find them 
. What do you think, how do I reach them. Which strategy should I use, coz one that I have tried through social media by posting has failed. Looking forward to getting some tips.

Now I made some search her on connect for local guides from Kenya and I found some that have been active before on connect. Their maps profile shows they have are still quite active. Please look through their posts and profile in these 3 links below;
These are posts of local guides from Kenya that were once very active on connect and have even attended connect live sometime back. I also looked at their maps profile and it looks active still.
Try contacting them through PM here on connect and see if there would be any response. I will be happy to work together with you. I love building community of local guides. Try following them on the maps as well, just to see what will workout. Wish you good luck.
