One of my favorite things to do as a local guide has been to add places on Google Maps and my most enjoyable finds have been free parking lots which access local beaches. From Jacksonville, Florida to Savannah, Georgia their are so many free places, big and small, to park and spend the day at the beach. In the middle of that stretch of coast one will f ind Saint Simons Island, Georgia. Saint Simons Island is one of my favorite places in the world and it’s been my pleasure to add several beach access lots. Some lots are very small, some lots have plenty of spaces, some lots and boardwalks are wheelchair accessible, and some lots have access to very primitive beaches.
I am so happy to now be a Master Trailblazer and I hope that other Local Guides and Google Maps users will benefit from my finds.
