Black bear sow & her two twin cubs. These have been frequent visitors at our house this year, and unwelcome guests to help themselves to our bird feeders.

Black Bears normally don’t hurt humans. However, almost the only exception is when a sow is with her cubs. You would never want to get between them. I live on 10 acres of forested land that backs up to state land. They come by more than I care for.
Maybe put a grizzly bear decoy in your yard and that would scare them off. That are maybe a scarecrow? Do they run away when shouted at?
