Bird Watching in Sri Lanka

Many endemic and migratory birds can be found in Sri Lanka. Huge flocks gather mostly in many lakes scattered throughout the island. Exploring these freshwater lakes filled with birds, water lilies and forested banks is an awesome experience! Best time to see birds is either in the morning or late in the evening when the sun is not that high above.
