Gordon’s Bay is a town and holiday resort on the False Bay, Western Cape, with a variety attractions, but the best for me were the Bikini Beach Books!!!
It appears to be like many other second-hand bookshops until you step inside to be amazed by the amazing loads of books! Best bookstore I’ve been to all over South Africa! However, it is not a bookshop for the faint-hearted. Categorized and alphabetized to a degree, it does nonetheless take more of an effort to find exactly the book you’re looking for, which may frighten off some buyers, but for many, the need to dig out the perfect book is precisely what makes this book shop so unique! Do not drive trough the gorgeous Gordons bay without stopping here!!! If you love books, you’ll fall in-love with this bookstore!Hi @Bibi78 ,
Thanks for sharing these photos of Gordon’s Bay! Are you from there? Looks really beautiful. I would love to spend a day at the beach and this book store looks really cool.

Just outside the village, some great adventure awaits. Stony point nature reserve has a wooden boardwalk and you can have a look at a colony of African Penguins. If you like hiking you can take a trail leading to the most amazing natural rock pools. Words are not enough to describe all the things you can do and see - one must visit in person to truly experience this magnificent small town “village”!
Only 45 minutes’ drive from Cape Town and close to Strand is Gordon’s bay.
