This Lake built for the 7th largest dam of the world Mangla Dam was constructed between 1961 and 1965 across the Jhelum River.

The Mangla Dam is the largest earth filled dam in the world 330 feet high and 11000 ft long with a crest elevation of 1234 feet This lake total area is 7,390,000 acre ⋅ft.

while going to Ramkot fort from Mangla view water sports club.Boat takes 30 minutes to reach Ramkot fort while I was going My feeling was that I am travelling in National Geo graphic channel.

The Mangla lake gives the magnification views of Mangla lake its turquoise colors waters Mesmerize every one but remember this blue turquoise color you can enjoy only in winter Bright sunny day

Thank you for another great post. The Mangla Lake looks beautiful. Are there any eco paths that lead to it? How long did the bike tour take this time?

Apologies if you did not understand the word from the first time. I literally translated it from my mother tongue. Eco path is like an educational trail, nature trail or nature walk that is developed for hiking. There is little to no human impact in the surrounding area. I hope that helps. :slightly_smiling_face:

@MoniDi @When I took these pictures I was stood on River Island it was surrounded by water from 3 sides and one side no water we took boat which took 30 minutes travel to reached us to an Island and details of this island i will tell you in 5th and last par
