So I was hoping someone somewhere could answer this…A month or so ago I was looking at my timeline,and it showed me almost two hrs.away to somewhere I have never been,I was at work.The strange thing is,the place it showed was my bosses house…PLEASE CAN ANYBODY HELP.

The location tracker can err.
The reasons are
=>Low or non-visibility of GPS satellites. In that case, the device determines an approximate location based on triangulation & that can go wrong.
=>Not granting permission for high accuracy mode.
However, Maps allows us to correct such errors or even add/delete places.
Maybe your boss is spying on you!
Just joking.
I agree sometimes the accuracy of the gps fails in many phones.

I had a look at your profile and I recommend removing the selfies and photos of the children from Maps. Maps isn’t a personal photo album and excessive selfies and sharing images of children are against the rules in the User Contributed Content Policy. https://support.google.com/contributionpolicy/answer/7422880
