The Buddha statue was founded in 2002 in Bhubon Shanti Buddist temple, Ramu, Cox’s Bazar. it’s 100 feet long and it makes the name. This is the largest Reclining Buddha statue in Bangladesh.

The reclining Buddha is seen in the Ajanta caves that were carved since 2 nd century BC.
I can find this out from a Google search but do you know the reasoning behind such carvings where the Buddha is sometimes depicted as relaxing whereas mostly the meditation pose is seen, especially since you interacted with the Bhikkus?
