I always enjoy my interest in ancient monuments due to the nomadic tendency. The journey to Telangana proved to be extremely successful. It has all the attractions of tourists interest.

This is an ancient temple and was built in early 7th century AD. It was built by Chalukya King and it’s dedicated to Bhadrakali an incarnation of Goddess Parvati. Black stone image is almost life size and with 8 arms. It has an entrance gate a porch and grand mandapa Sanctum Sanctorum is place of chief deity. Through antrala circumabulatory is there to offer the ritual a Shiva temple, a Navagrah temple are are located in the temple complex. Pillar of honour lion the ride of the Goddess and Nandi are llocated in side the mandap. For annual procession chariot and musical instruments are placed. Its architecture is almost versava style and built by sand stone. After Chalukya, care of this temple was taken by Kakatiya and Goddess Bhadrakali was there Kul Devi. In 13th century Ganpatideva built an artificial lake close to the temple and other expansions and renovation. Now it’s managed by Bhadrakali trust. It’s situated at the border of Warangal and Hanamkonda. While close to the Nandi in temple you may hear the whisper of girls in the ears of Nandi. During Navratri thousands of devotees are coming to worship.

It’s a major tourists attraction among history buffs wanderers soulseekers heritage and culture lovers. Devotees are visiting from every corner.
