Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal stands out as one of Telangana’s most revered and ancient shrines, located picturesquely between Hanamkonda and Warangal on the banks of Bhadrakali Lake. Established in 625 AD by Chalukya King Pulakesin II to commemorate his victory over the Vengi region, the temple honors Goddess Bhadrakali, an incarnation of Parvati, whose impressive idol is carved from a single stone and depicted with eight arms.
