in Spring Break, I went to Vienna with my friends. we flew from Eindhoven, Netherlands.
we stayed in Vienna for 3 days and 1 day in Slovakia (I will explain this in my next post)
Due to its central location in Europe, Vienna is a very popular destination for visitors from all over the world.
Vienna’s beautiful city centre and historical buildings are some of the city’s prime sights with magnificent architecture that leaves visitors in awe. From Art Nouveau, to Gothic and Baroque as well as the famous “Ringstraßenstil”, Vienna serves it all.
( and yes they have STUDENT DISCOUNT) which is really good for me as International Student. I just need to show my student card and dutch residence permit.
Aside from the urban capital flair, Vienna offers countless parks and recreational areas where you can enjoy some peace and quiet.More than half of the metropolitan area is made up of green spaces. 280 imperial parks and gardens enrich the cityscape.
and the most important thing is the food, VIENNA FOOD ARE AWESOME.
but the portion is really big for me, well for most of Asian people this. portion it is too much.
last thing, when you visit Vienna. you have to go to Wiener Staaatsoper. you can buy the standing tickets for 3 euro. and it was unforgettable memories for me.
but when you travel to Vienna be careful with the beggars.
and don’t worry about the languages most of people there speak English so you will be fine.
Perhaps the most-visited attraction in Vienna, the Schönbrunn Palace is the former imperial summer residence of the Habsburgs, and is arguably the most important historical monument in Austria.
basically 3 days is enough to visit Vienna and you can buy the public transport tickets for 17 euro for 3 days.
