I was at the Melia Ha Noi for a meeting and had a quick lunch. Out of time and order the Quesadillas dish just because I haven’t had one for a long long time since I left Houston. It blew my mind as it was so gooooood and mouth watering delicious…and filling!
Eating quesadillas in Vietnam is awesome @K-arno . What was the filling? I love that people migrate all over the world, bringing with them their traditional dishes for new people and cultures to try. Thanks for sharing.
It was the fajita beef and the melted cheese with the carmelized onions that did it.
Quesadillas is probably my all time favorite Mexican dish @K-arno , I could eat them every day for the rest of my life.
I didn’t think it would be easy finding Mexican food in Vietnam but based on your verdict it seems you got the real deal.
Were these made with a Vietnamese touch or just a true delicious Mexican recipe?
This was very authentic and on par with what I usually had in Houston. Yes, Mexican foods can be easily found in both Saigon and Hanoi. And thank you for the comments.
Good to know @K-arno , I wasn’t aware of this but then again I’ve never visited Vietnam.
If you’re from Houston I suppose you’re pretty familiar with Mexican food and Tex-Mex so I’ll take your word for it.
It was very close to the Tex-Mex in Houston.
Good to know @K-arno ! It’s nice to have a break from the local cuisine once in a while.
I love Asian food, but if the Mexican food is that good I don’t mind having some different choices.
By the way @K-arno if you want to communicate with me or other Local Guides directly, you can tag us by typing @ before our name. This way we’ll receive a notification saying that you have mentioned us.
Most definitely that different choices are always welcome… I’m very much into good foods and exploring the different cuisines while travelling…
Wonderful and Thank you.
