Hotel Bharath(Chembottil Lane | Round South)
Situated close to Ragam Theatre in thrissur and is the first choice when i crave for a crispy Masala dosa or any vegetarian dishes. The hotel has ample car parking facility and it wont be difficult for you to find this place. Just ask anyone. You would have to wait for a couple of minutes to get a table as the hotel is very crowded. But it is still worth the wait.
Must try: Masala Dosa, Oonu(Traditional thali served on banana leaf), Evening Snacks
Sree Radhakrishna Prasada
Situated in the same lane as Hotel Bharath. It has a good ambience and a mix of all south indian dishes are available(Kerala,karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh) . I think i didnt leave out any states. Here also you will love the food, but i suggest if you have patience to wait for the table at Bharath.

Thakkaram restaurant
They have a variety of dishes and you will have to spend some time to get a table and to decide up on the dish. You will get authentic thalassery dishes here. Everything tastes good from the biriyanis to snacks to desserts . They have used their local names to name the dishes.
The interior of the restaurant is pretty good with creative caricatures and wall art.

Hotel Sapphire
Located next to Thrissur Railway station, made for the biriyani lovers of the city. You wont have to wait for long once you place the order for your mouthwatering Biriyani. Do not expect high ambience as the place is more than 30 years old.
Biriyani+Lime Juice, thats what i order from Sapphire.

This one has many outlets in the city by the names(copper spoon, golden spoon, silver spoon)
You will get reasonably good veg and non veg dishes here too.Good ambience
Sulaimani 168
This is a small eatery which is attracting both youngsters and family of the city. You will find it difficult to find a parking spot. Again if you love malabari dishes , do try this place. Spend your evening here with a sulaimani and some snacks.
