Bangalore is one of most cosmopolitan cities in India, after Mumbai off course. This city based in Southern India has an amalgamation of Indian sub cultures. Also, owing to the IT revolution in India, the hub of which was Bangalore, the people here are way more exposed to regions outside of India. There’s a vast majority of population residing here that travels abroad and frequently stays back in US or Europe for work. International Exposure has resulted in more demand for international cuisines in Bangalore. Especially more authentic stuff.
In this post I want to share about my favorite Pizza places in the city. I frequently visit a couple of restaurants here for Italian food and love their pizzas. Here goes my list of recommendations
- The Pizza Bakery, 12th Main Indra Nagar
Hands down the best pizzas in town I must say. Not just the taste but the variety of the pizzas here and the way they prepare is just too good. All pizzas are hand tossed and baked in a wood fire oven to add to the experience. The taste is phenomenol. I love the pig out pizza here the most
- Toscano, various locations in Bangalore
This fine dining restaurant serves sumptuous Italian fare not limited to just pizzas. However, since we’re talking about pizzas here, i would like to talk about the Margaritas and the pepperoni pizza here. Super crisp and packed with flavors, this is one place that deserves a mention.
- Chianti, various locations in Bangalore
This restaurant is My favorite Italian food restaurant in Bangalore. Apart from the pizza I love the pastas here…have tried the entire menu including the lamb chops and loved everything here. The food is always consistent.
The pizzas here are phenomenol too. They have a nice spread of vegetarian as well as Non vegetarian pizzas and I love everything about it.
