The most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local Guide is to add photos to Google Maps. I live in a Beautiful City, with a lot of squares, palaces, churches and more. So I started to upload photos of monuments and areas of interest.
The most important things by taking photos are quality and patience. You have to pay attention to the amazing scenes and capture magic moments. I think the photos are the best way to share places and experiences. I’m not a local celebrity but I have 9.000 followers on my Instagram. I reached that with amazing photos.
Also, good photos could be useful for shopping malls, restaurants or car dealerships. I help places to display products or food and show areas with no photos or useful things like bathrooms. Here are some of the photos I’ve added:
This day I spent 1 hr. in the square by taking photos, waiting for the perfect natural light. The gray clouds are really important to freeze the water.
I always go to have lunch on Mondays with my best friend at university. That Monday we went to the new near restaurant to try the food and it was delicious, I uploaded food pictures, I thought maybe that were the first photos of a customer’s food.
