3 things you cannot miss in Cairns
Cairns considered the gateway to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, is a city in tropical Far North Queensland. Its Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park tells the stories of indigenous Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with music and dance. Cairns Esplanade, lined with bars and restaurants, has a swimming lagoon. Northwest of the city, Daintree National Park spans mountainous rainforest, gorges, and beaches. (Wikipedia)
During my trip to Cairns, I had my best ever experience in my life, here we go:
- No. 1 Great Barrier Reef Diving and Snorkeling CruiseOnce you start to like exploring new places, you cannot stop. The first place to me is Great Barrier Reef &Diving & Snorkeling
In addition, I booked the 15 mins helicopter tour to see the magnificent masterpiece with the god’s sight.
To be honest, I really enjoy the diving time. Diving 10 meters down to see the incredible variety of marine life is one of my best experience ever. Even though my ears are not comfortable with the pressure of the sea, I still feel the experience is precious. After that I tried 2 times snorkeling, it is great.
15 mins helicopter tour makes me truly excited because I have never ever to see it in this way. After that, I talk to the pilot, and yes, we have a good time, I learn a lot.
- No.2 Skydiving
Skydiving would be as important as the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns that you can not miss.
Can you image about jumping from 15,000 feet ？
Do you know that if you do so you have to face the 2mins free fall down?
I know and I did.
Skydiving always on my to do list and it comes true when I travel to Cairns.
I want to do more in New Zealand.
- No.3 Cairns Esplanade Lagoon
Once you are here, you want to go nowhere. Esplanade Lagoon is the most casual place for checking it out, 10mins walking time from the city center and great view with free swimming pool let you do not want to leave.
