Beryan of Isfahan

This is Beryan.I apologize if the picture is somehow mouth watery. A unique food of Isfahan, Iran. If you travel to Iran and especially in Isfahan and you ask for traditional food, it is impossible that on the first suggestion you do not hear the name of Beryan. Beryan is grinded lamb meat which is mixed with onion and spice then is fried in special ovens.Afterwards they put between bread and pour some saffron taste almond crops on that. Usually they serve it with fresh vegetables like basil and onions and sour orange. Even the bread is traditional and the name is Sangak.

very nice question… I myself maybe once per three month… because it is a little fatty and it is not recommended to eat at night unless you be a meat lover. normally it is cooked in restaurants and specifically in Beryani ( the kitchen that cook only Beryan). because it needs special tools to cook it and also it is difficult to cook in the house while if you cook yourself in the house you can manage ho fatty it will be. there is some bread inside the bowl in the picture. the name is Abgusht of Beryan which is bread poured in the meat water and then is mixed.
