In the heart of the city next to one of the best locations on Rothschild boulevard, you’ll find a small and quiet street that will lead you to a fantastic boutique hotel. When you step inside you’ll immediately notice the unique and beautiful decoration of the lobby which is of a european - inspired design from the 1930/40s. They have great rooms which come in several sizes and with everything I had needed for my stay. Assa is the general manager of the hotel and I had the chance to sit down and talk to him about how his hotel came to be. For me, people like Assa are exactly what you look for when you are hosting a boutique hotel. He is such a nice and friendly person that knows how to treat his customers and employees right. Assa is very professional and a real gentleman.
After a short refreshment and a walk around the stunning Rothschild boulevard, I booked a table at the Bellboy (the bar inside the hotel).
In my opinion, the Bellboy is the highest quality cocktail bar in Tel Aviv! The atmosphere and the design is unbelievable and so special. If you are already inside the bar and looking for another experience of drinks and cocktails, look for the door to “The Butler”… It is a hidden bar inside the Bellboy!
As aforementioned, I absolutely enjoyed the old european style. As one who drinks cocktails infrequently, I must say that all the cocktails are insanely good! The food and dishes are delicious. All the waitresses there know exactly how to match the right drink to you and to the meal, they super professional and well dressed. I had the privilege to meet Ariel, the owner of the bar and a cocktail worldwide expert. He is such a pleasant and friendly person! I told him my feelings about the place (my first time and not the last!) and I could tell how much he cares and appreciated that!
In summary, I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel and a visit (or two!) to the Bellboy Bar! Its prime Tel Aviv location is surrounded by hi-tech offices and companies which brings many foreigners looking for a place to stay while working internationally or simply coming for vacation. I had even met and chatted with some employees from Apple and Facebook! I have no doubt that as an employee from a hi-tech company, spending your stay in Israel at this hotel is a must, especially with the awesome Bellboy Bar waiting for you at the end of every day! Overall, I really enjoyed my stay there as a local and would definitely go back again.
