That’s a very interesting fact that I didn’t know about Bangladesh, so thank you @AbdullahAM for sharing this information with us. I can appreciate beautiful clay pottery, but in my house you’ll probably find clay in the form of cooking pots. It’s takes more time for the dish to cook, but it brings out the flavors in a hole different way, which I adore. Do you use clay utensils for cooking?

P.S.: I relabeled your post and it now appears in the Local Stories board, where it fits better.

Clay products are still popular in the village ares in our country. In the village ares women uses big clay pots to store drinking water as it keep the water cool. Also many clay products use for cooking but very often. I heard from my father My grand mom used all the cooking pots made by clay 90-100 yeas ago.

That’s a good tip! I wasn’t aware that bottles or pots from clay can preserve the water cold. I’ll bear that in mind.

I don’t know about you, @AbdullahAM , but I’ve never come across an inedible dish that was cooked in a clay utensil. The stew is always nice and tender and not to forget very delicious.
