New York is busy city and popular destination for travelers also, many things to see and enjoy. I was traveled to New York for a week; where I have visited many places and have varieties of food in different restaurant including Bengali Food. One the restaurant is called Boishakhi Restaurant (in Bengali বৈশাখী ) at 36th Avenue, Queens, New York; where they are serves all Bengali foods. I have some of my favorite foods here. They are serving delicious Bengali foods.
I have my favorite foods in this restaurant like Beef Tripe, Pomfret Fish Fry, Small Fish Curry, Meshed Potato, Meshed Dried Fish, Meshed Fish, Lentil and Rice.
Beef Tripe: It’s one of my most favorite foods and also a popular food in Bangladesh. This is basically cow’s stomach, after cleaning the stomach nicely it boiled for 10-15min, after that chop it small pieces and then cook with different cooking masala.
Fried Pomfret Fish: It’s also one of my favorite foods. The Pomfret Fish is a sea fish and catch from the Bay of Bengal. After cleaning mix with different cooking masala and then fry it on hot oil and serve with fried Onion, Green Chili and Green Coriander leaves.
Small Fish Curry: Mix of different types of small fishes and cook with cooking masala.
Meshed Potato: Skin off after boiling the potatoes and then meshed and mixed with Green Chili, Onion, Coriander leaves and Mustard Oil.
Meshed Dried Fish: Dried prawns fried on oil and then meshed and mixed with fried Red Chili, Onion, Coriander leaves and Mustard Oil.
Meshed Fish: After fired the fish or few pieces of a big fish then take off the bones and meshed and then mixed with Green Chili, Onion, Coriander leaves and Mustard Oil.
Rice and Lentil: Rice and Lentil is a common food for Lunch and Dinner for Bengali’s.
