Hello Local Guides ,

#BeingLocal is a small series of posts I have started to help local guides who are in a non local place for living .

This is Bangalore Edition .

Here is the very first and very basic tip .

#Tip 1 : Always carry a bag(Jute,cotton,paper) when you go to any shop around Bangalore

The beauty of the city is , people here have taken no plastic very seriously , When ever you go to a shop , be it vegetable shop , grocery store you must have a bag with you , because the shopkeepers will not give you a plastic bad , never ever .

If you do not have a bag then you have no option but buy a new cloth bag which can cost you 15 bucks every time you forget to carry one .

So this is tip 1 , when in bangalore always carry a small carry bag with you .

Very true @NarenChandra . I do the same. I make sure I have a reusable bag with me all the time! Hope other states also introduce this and follow strictly.

True, @vvbellur @other states also must take this seriously,they need to get inspired by Karnataka
