I’m happy to share my life journey as a local guide and the most interesting accomplishment that I have done and wanted to do as a local guide. I always used to love to travel with my community (Chennai Local guides)
As a Local guide, my main initiative leads to hosting knowledge sharing meetups in multiple domains by bringing achievers of a specific domain and active speakers from my city to share the experience among others which will mutually benefit the local guides and the community in some manner.
I would like to share in brief about the interesting thing that I have done by hosting meetups and motivating others to host the meetups. Recently with respect to National tourism day. I have hosted a meetup with respect to the List of Important Days & Dates of 2020 (National & International) as a theme. I have selected the title as National tourism day with the objective plan of bringing a Speaker from the domain and sharing the session which will benefit the local guides and the community for the queries related to travel.

We always believe that knowledge is wealth. This meetup, in turn, resulted in awareness and knowledge filled sessions with a maximum outreach of 20 attendees. The attendees went with enough amount of useful information. I always gather feedback in post-meetup sessions from fellow participants to improve my key skills and take it in a manner to do it better in the future from the remarks. Among hosting all meetups in previous this is what I feel the most interesting thing that I have done to my community. In the near future, I planned to host similar meetups and wanted to travel to other countries as a solo backer to host meetups in collaboration with those regional local guides for support.
