Being able to bring the wonders of the world within reach of all people is certainly the most interesting and beautiful thing in the whole virtual world.
Thanks to the Google Local Guide community I was able to have a first hand experience of this feeling .
One day I woke up very motivated and with a great desire to explore, so I went to action next to my boyfriend .
This is how we arrived at one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, a magnificent set of virgin beaches, in Cabo de las Huertas, Alicante, Spain.
The impact of the first sight was impressive, both of us were left open-mouthed. We had never imagined that such a hidden place could be so impressive.
The tranquility and silence of this place captivated us immediately. We both sat on a small bench that was located right in front of the beach and began to contemplate the beauty of the sea and the noise of its waves. It was a magical sensation.
After this , the next thing that came to my mind was that I need to share with the world this wonderful place . So I return next day with my boyfriend’s 360 degrees camera and spent a good time trying to capture the perfect Photo that will be able to transmit in just one image all the beauty of this place.
When I finally got it, it didn’t take long to upload it to Google Local Guide so that everyone could enjoy this beautiful place and hope that they would dare to visit it and experience the same feeling of happiness and tranquility that we do , and I also immediately add this place on my top 10 favorite places in Alicante .
Of course, the photo didn’t take long to produce the impact I was hoping for since, as I said before, this place was more than impressive.
But the biggest impact in my life was when a disabled friend of mine saw the picture , and in a friends meeting thanked me for publishing it, saying that this way He can also enjoy such a beautiful place which unfortunately he will never be able to reach due to his condition.
I was a little impacted but at the same time very happy for my friend. And life went on.
But everything was going to change when I got the Google mail with the Connect Live 2020 invitation.
After looking at the mail, I decided to make the application because I would love to attend this event, meet people from all over the world, change ideas and experience and satisfy my innate desire to travel and share it with the world.
So I started thinking about what was the most interesting thing I did as a local guide and I remembered what happened that time with my disabled friend and this was the moment when I came up also with a new idea.
From now on, in all my trips I will make a list of nice places that have access for disabled people, and for those who don’t, I will take the best pictures in 360 degrees so that everybody can enjoy an experience as close as possible to the real one. Because the wonders of the world have to reach all people!
