Being a Local Guide

I honestly became a local guide by coincidence, it started out as a normal day to day taking of pics in different locations and posting them without really knowing that in result i was impacting many peoples lives… I love travelling a lot and also working in the Tourism industry really helped me go round the country more and on daily basis. To my surprise , i started growing pretty fast and within a short time i was on level 5.

Being a local guide to me is more than just where and what i do but more of how many people have i helped make a choice on which restaurant has the best food , which hotel has the best room service and which location will give you return on your money. I will continue helping the world with beautiful pictures and wonderful destinations. That’s my daily duty and personal hobby. Hope to meet other enthusiastic guides soon so that we can connect and share more ideas.

Hi @CHERRY254 , since there’s still time for the application, I really suggest you to read carefully at this Guideline again of how to make a good application post, which the post must be 300 words minimum and it should be under “Local Stories” topic, not Travel. Wish you luck!

Hello @CHERRY254 ,

Thanks for sharing!

Please notice that I relocated your post to the Local Stories board where applicants should submit their response. You can find everything you need to know about writing a post for Connect Live 2020 here. If you think you are missing some of the points mentioned, you can always edit the post and add them.

You can check Video tips for your Connect Live 2020 application for some insights as well. Please be noted that you may need to have the material uploaded via YouTube and then having it submitted via the official page.

Hi, Will surely do. Thanks for the guidance.
