Being a local guide

It all started late last year, I really can’t remember the date exactly but yeah…

Actually never knew being a Local guide was a thing, lol!!

There’s this thing my best friends and I do, Every month we save up and go try out a really cool place, so this time we were going to an Indian restaurant called cilantro… My gosh the place was so beautiful… The ambiance, the food, the services… all top notch!! Let me tell you the place was so hard to find, I had to ask Google Map for help… Little wonder the place was not so popular.

While on Google for directions, I noticed the reviews and I wasn’t satisfied…just a passing thought though.

As usual I had a great Time and took loads of pictures with my girls…

The next day surfing through my phone I see a pop up from google asking if I would like to review the last place visited and I was like yessss pleaseee… :joy:

Voila, I became a Google local guide , uploading pictures and receiving a tap at the back for a job well done and seeing people view my pictures and like my reviews was just so satisfying. Knowing I could push my little community forward and help businesses boom was just an appealing job and it felt like a game because for your hardwork you get to enter different levels and get stars…

I don’t plan to stop anytime soon
