I would like to introduce myself I’m Arjun Uttama Nambi SN from Malleshwaram Area, Bangalore City, Karnataka State, India.
Basically I work for a MNC Co & do social services a lot in my free time.
When I got to know about Google Local Guide.
I started posting my reviews about the places wherever i go. Google local guide community used to give me the updates of many places where i visit and frequently it used to ask for reviews, i was more impressed with it, because it is very useful for the people who doesn’t know about place can read our reviews and q& a what i have answered and if i feel a picture of a business or a public place is required i started capturing pictures of the rarely visited places. So that if someone is looking for a place and if I post a pic that person can identify by seeing my pic on Google.
I guess someone has a question, what u get by doing this.
As I told you earlier I do social service. So I think this is the service what we do for our community without any expectation or intention.
It’s not just by writing a review and posting a pic matters. The review should be valuable for the users and also the same with pictures should be clear for the users to get to know the place.
I really appreciate Google to come up with such a great initiative towards public.
It’s not simple to do this sort of work, so I say only Google kind of companies have a vision towards community for a cause.
One more thing when I used to travel throughout the world.
I had a question in myself.
Should I need to write a review to the places which I travelled in Europe as I stay in Bangalore no one will view was my perception.
Just to try I wrote few reviews of the places which I travelled in Europe and then got comments from few of the business owners made me more enthusiastic about this local guide community. And I used to spend some time writing reviews wherever I go globally and was happy apart from my social activities being a part of Google local guide community is also a social cause initiative towards public.
I feel proud whenever I reviece email from local guide community about my views reaching lakhs and millions of people.
So I’m really happy and feeling great to be part of Googles Local Guide Community Globally.
