You have already known, that Being a Local Guide is to help other people, Being Local Guide is to Connect with other people. Now, I give you the new perspective!
I found lots of interesting things because I join this program.
FUN WAY to be A Local Guide
1. Exploring my city, Jakarta
As an ordinary Mom with lots activities, I don’t have the luxurious travelling foreign country, or even travel around Indonesia. Travelling and exploring could be done in my hometown, Jakarta.
Jakarta has a lot of hidden treasure, you can explore Jakarta in uncommon way. Sometimes, I passed the site every day, but never noticed that building have special or unique stories.
Jakarta My City Series, is launched. As I travel and explore Jakarta. So the readers and Local Guides from all around the world, could do the same. Have the new experience, have new ambience, and of course have new activities to do around Jakarta.
2. Learn New Knowldedge
I learn about lots of things through Google Maps, Suddenly I was Street View Trusted Photographer. How cool and FUN that is! A Mom who is 360 Photographer. After Taking pictures and videos, and I posted it in WhatsApp Status, Instagram and Youtube!
In here, I also learn how to make a Good Review, taking Good and Informative Photos using my very own mobile camera.
3. Meet New Friends
I am a single mom, with daily routines. Because of Local Guides, I met alot of new friends with different age, gender, races, countries, and professions. When we meet each other, there is no barrier between us, we just share knowledge and tips and tricks. Our relationship based on Local Guides and help other people, just simple as that. All of us, have different routines, but when we meet, we talk and laugh about everything.
When Local Guides from another city or another country come to Jakarta, I try to meet them and accompany them, the best as I can. I want to be a good friend. As They will be a good friend for me too. For Instance, when I went to Singapore, I met Julien, and when I went to Malaysia, I met @PavelSarwar @StephenAbraham @Saidulkarim, Saqieb, Promoth, Prave
This is what I called “Being A Local Guide Every Day in A Fun Way”.
