I love exploring new places, I love to travel and I love more to share my knowledge with other people! Being a Local Guide in a big city is not my thing. I live in a very small town (200 people) that is one hour from Barcelona. We have the big, touristy, amazing city very near but we have our unique personality. Maybe it is the landscape or the extreme temperatures we have here (freezing cold in winter, boiling hot in summer) but we love to share our little secrets with other people.
WIth the Local Guide program this is easier than ever! I can post my favorite hidden fountain in the middle of the forest or the most underrated restaurant in our region (without any signs outside). That is the magic of the Local Guides, I can share this little places to everyone in the World, isn’t that amazing?
Maybe you are going to think that this is a very little action, we don’t have thousand of tourist! But for us, for the community here, it’s very important to share our little gems. Grandma’s of the town are amazed to know new people that arrive here, at our town, to discover the sweet treats that they made!
