Behind the Scenes of My Local Guide Story in Cambodia

Dear Local Guides & Community,

Warm greetings from Cambodia!
I’m a proud and passionate Local Guide who has been contributing since I first discovered the internet. Born and raised in a humble village, I’ve worked hard to pursue my education and build the life I have today — and I continue dreaming bigger every day.

As a Cambodian, I want to share with the world how beautiful my country truly is. From the warmth of our people to the rich culture and historical wonders like Angkor Wat, Cambodia offers unforgettable experiences to every visitor. We welcome travelers from all over the world with kindness, smiles, and open arms.

I hope that one day, each of you will visit Cambodia — even just once in your lifetime — to see its beauty, history, and spirit for yourself.

Every day, I wake up inspired to show the world the amazing places and stories hidden across Cambodia. Whether it’s a famous site or a hidden gem, there’s always something meaningful to discover — and often on a budget that suits everyone.

If you ever come to Cambodia, I’d be more than happy to show you around — no charge, just from the heart.

Thank you for supporting this community and for giving voices like mine a place to share.

With gratitude,
A Local Guide from Cambodia

Beautiful.. the painting of nature is beyond our imagination. Nice click @hengloem

Kudos to all your efforts as a local guide @hengloem :tada:

Visiting Cambodia is on my wishlist @hengloem
Thank you for sharing some exciting information.

Why don’t you mention some top places to visit with their Google Maps links in your post, so that local guides can get there easily. Also include some photos of those places taken by you alongside useful information like the best time of the year to visit, places to eat, and stay nearby.

Of course, a meetup can be scheduled when you would like to take local guides visiting Cambodia along with you around.

Thank you for taking us along on your adventure! @hengloem

What a beautiful click @hengloem

I have seen this temple through the eyes of a traveler. For travelers, while visiting Cambodia, this has to be in visiting list.

Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for visiting Cambodia.

I hope to see you someday.

Thanks for noting us.

Appreciated. To share the world.

Olá @hengloem , gosto de jornalismo e turismo, no Brasil órgãos de imprensa especiliazados tem recomendado visitar seu país. Vi paisagens deslumbrantes, e o custo beneficio excelente, e claro, a recepção especial do povo Cambojano.

Glad to hear from you bro. @hengloem, and warm welcome to the Local Guides Community :folded_hands: .
