Beet Cutlet

Beet Cutlet Recipe ??

Ingredients:

Beet - 2-3 medium size (boiled)
potatos - 2 medium size (boiled)
Poha (thik) - ½ small Bowl
Ginger - a small piece
Garlic - 3-4 piece
Turmeric powder - a pinch
green chilli - 1-2 no.
Few Coriander leaves - chopped
Fresh mint leaves - chopped
Kashmiri chilli powder - ½ tsp
Cumin powder - ½ tsp
Amchur Powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - ½ tsp
Chat masala -1 tsp
Bread crumbs or Rava Or Suji
Oil - 2 Tbsp

Method:

  1. Boil the Beet and potato
  2. Make a fine paste of Green chilli, ginger, garlic,
  3. Take a big size Bowl Add Beet and potato smashed well 4.Add turmeric powder, green chilli, coriander leaves, kashmiri chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder amchur/dry mango powder and chat masala.
  4. Now Mix well.
  5. Roll the mix in to small patties. Coat with bread crumbs or Rava or Suji.
  6. Heat oil in a flat pan. Shallow fry the patties on both sides till its crispy and brown outside
    Serve with sauce, dip or chutney of your choice.

@piyushnaghate thank you for sharing the recipe, I’ll try to adapt it and prepare it with the ingredients that I have (I don’t have all the spices that you indicate). I suppose this dish is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, sweet and salty at the same time. It would be a perfect meal for those days which I want to cook easily.

Yaa absolute you should try this onec a time, one thing you don’t mention in test that it is made in India that’s why it will be little spice too. :yum: :grin:
