San Diego, CA is not only known for its beautiful weather and beaches, it is also known for the having an immense number of craft breweries. And I’m on the mission to try all with my dog! What I love to share on Google Maps is all the many different craft breweries in San Diego that are dog friendly.
One type of beer that I love to try at any craft brewery is “Hazy IPAs”. Hazy IPAs also known as East Coast IPAs or New England Style IPAs is an unfiltered Indian Pale Ale. The color usually resembles orange juice. The flavor and aromas are very hoppy, fruity and juicy. Some breweries only specialize in hazies. And some breweries go crazy on infusing different ingredients to make it the “juiciest”. They add in fruit tones, lactose, and many hops.
I got into hazy IPAs because of my love for beer then it just evolve as the hipster generation perfected the craft breweries. It also brought my (now) fiancé and I together. We would hang out every weekend at a new brewery, trying to find the best hazy IPA and our mission to try all the craft beers. Also, most breweries allow dogs, our dog (Lychee) is a known brew dog.
