Bed and Breakfast, or perhaps a dinner: why I love to review hostels and restaurants.

The things I love sharing the most on Google Maps are hostels and restaurants, this is because I am passionate about discovering the world and I am into trying new cuisines and cooking themes. I would like to make the map more intuitive and descriptive, especially when it comes to finding a good place to stay or eating out.

In 2018, I have visited South Korea during April, it was one of the most interesting travelling experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve to Pohang and Seoul, two amazing destinations. Having already spent a great deal of my money in Pohang, one thing that confused me is to find an affordable stay in Seoul. I made intensive research and found that amazing venue “Cheonggye Haus” in which I got a 4-night stay for $160. They do not offer food but I had a great air-conditioned room with a restroom and culinary facilities. The internet connection was super-fast. They have a spacious roof in which you can enjoy a drink with a great view as well. Being in downtown and very near to subway, it was super easy to commute to different attractions. It is kinda hard-to-find, I have taken descriptive photos of the tiny entrance and shared them on Maps. I found the contact of the responsible guy and informed them with your arrival time. He just left me a welcome note on the door because he wasn’t there at the time of my arrival; it was a great gesture of him.

I have tried the Korean cuisine and would definitely recommend Gwangjang Market to try the traditional Korean noodles that is really delicious. It is within 3-minute walk from the hostel. I have also tried local food in Itaewon; a great spot for nightlife and activities in which I have met some awesome guys and shared some food and dancing till the dawn.

I dream that everybody can discover the world, see new places, and introduce to different cultures and people. Sharing information about affordable hostels would make it better for everyone to travel, and sharing local food spots will make it easier for them to mingle with local cultures and get a glimpse of the local taste.
