Hallo everyone, let me introduce myself. My name is Saeful Bahri, I’m University student of “Sebelas Maret” Surakarta, Indonesia and right now I’m at 9 level of Google Local Guide.
Why Did I choose as google Local Guide? The answer is very simple. Believe it or not, i just don’t want my bad experinced happen to the others. And it may also often be experinced by many people. Yeah, I ever got lost because the exact location was not match with the poin which is showed on google map.
Chaotic placement of point in my area, Surakarta and probably also almost in all areas tend to be careless. There are many duplicate places, spam, evenmore its done by the local guides themselves. Its phatetic indeed.
By joining and contributing with the google local guide, I tried to fix the irregularities. I started it almost a year ago, even more I guess. By becoming Google local guide i can edit it even suggested to remove an inappropriate location.
Not only that, through google local guides service I often review and share photos of location which I visit likes popular and interesting places even a grocey stores. I do this to clarify the information of the place and show to the world that indonesia is so wonderful and fascinating.
In addition, through the accessibilty features, I want to realize the infinite in limitations.
Being one of the invites in local guides connect is a dream I’ve always had. I often share a story how to become a google local guide, contribute with it and also the benefit to be gained. I also often share my will to come and visit google headquarters. It sound hard, but I’m sure in can go through beyond my limitations.
At my age of 21 years in October, i convinced myself to join this registation. A pride an valuable learning if my dream come true. Knowing, directly seeing, and exchanging ideas with all the local guides from around the world is a wonderful thing and I look forward to it. Being one of who is invited by a great company like Google will always be my dream as i have to realize. What i really want is, how can i be usefull to other people, how to subserve and help people by using my basic knowlegde and experince.
