I really enjoy traveling out of town, visiting friends’ houses in different areas, and visiting new places. At that time I was on my way to a new place, of course I needed a place to rest, because I was in an unfamiliar area with people I didn’t know, I then opened google maps and looked for recommendations for places to rest. I found a place with high marks, and I went there. But apparently the place was not in accordance with the expectations and the number of ratings on google maps. Not infrequently I also visit places that have good, historical, and memorable sights as well as restaurants and cafes that serve good food, good prices and services but these places cannot yet be found in Googlemaps. That’s why I was inspired to be able to add a place in Google Maps as well as provide a rating and review of the place.
I also started my steps as a Google local guide, by providing ratings and reviews of places to eat, travel, and more on Google in full and detail that makes me always get an additional 10 scores on every review I give. I also Do not forget to always add photos to every review that I give. Eventually I began to like the activity because of that way I felt like it was useful for people. Telling them the places they have never visited, in order to give them more assumptions and curiosity as consideration.
Every time I travel to a place, I always take the time to take a photo and give a rating as well as a review, then I share it on whatsapp status. Until I finally went up to a higher level where I could add a place. At this level I’m very happy because I feel even more useful. I can add touriszm place with beautiful scenery that not many people know about, I can also add recommended places to eat that are not yet found in Google Maps. On the other hand, I also provide a review of service offices, such as police stations, health centers, hospitals, terminals, and others. And not infrequently some people reply to my review and they feel very helped and thank me. After all I also want to build a google guide community in the small town where I live because here there is no community. I have to take a google guide meet uo which is held in another city. I want people in my city to start their steps to become a google guide, so they can add places, review, and rate. Besides being useful for others, being a local guide is also useful for those who want to open a business. Because here there was once a Google guide who set a price of 500,000 rupiahs to add a place on Google. It would be nice for them to be able to do it by themselves and they also feel useful for others.
I am very happy to be a Google local guide, because of that I feel I can provide benefits to people out there who I don’t know all about. With the local guide meet up I hope I can experience further new knowledge and maximize myself as a local guide.
