Lucky this time I got the trust again to be part of Pesona Indonesia Team from Ministry of Tourism Indonesia in expedition explore Malang City. Previously I also got this precious opportunity with my friends other Indonesia travel influencers .
At that time I just returned from an event for the global event of the Local Guides Summit 17 hosted by Google in Mountain View, San Francisco, California.
Just arrived in Surabaya in the morning, at night I got a call to get up myself. On this occasion I have to take responsibility, there’s still a lot of works that I have to finish after I’ve lived in California. The committee said I was chosen because of my contribution as a local guide and Instagramers who quite arguably have social benefits in the digital world for tourism promotion.
But, at that time I was thinking that my presence is more needed byPesona Indonesia Team for this great agenda. I’m sure they’ve been very experienced to send some travelers, instagrammers, bloggers, to youtubers who must use for this opportunity. Okay I’m making this offer. Arriving home, two days later I had to start the journey four days ahead with new friends Tim Pesona Indonesia.
The name of this activity is often referred to as “Famtrip Blogger”. His name is seen only bloggers are officially invited by Pesona Indonesia Team from Ministry of Tourism Indonesia. There are several clusters that become the consideration of Team Pesona Indonesia to include the composition in this team.
After communicating with Team Enchantment Indonesia, it turns out I was in a team with the composition of the travel influencers @joeadimara_ @anggaaaaar @debumalam @naana1704 @cewealpukat @ranselusang @amrisianturi. And maybe it could be said history in Famtrip Blogger the first time there is one brother in a team, I was in a team with my brother @joeadimara_.
The first day.
Short story on November 7, 2017 in the morning I had to get up early to iron some remaining t-shirts that are still ready, because yesterday was very mepet journey before haha.
Arriving at the airport, I was greeted by Mas Ain to handel the team members who gathered at Juanda International airport. At that time I went alone to the airport because @joeadimara_ will directly to Malang from Bromo Mountain. At the airport I am waiting for @cewealpukat @debumalam from Surabaya, @ranselusang from Lombok, and @anggaaaaar from Yogyakarta.
In Juanda should leave at 11 am, but we still have to wait @anggaaaaar which according to the airplane information that was delayed. He said the delay was because of birds. Finally at 2 pm teams from Surabaya continue the trip to Malang. In the car that I am all the people on all sleep.
Until in Malang, we stopped by to eat at Bebek Sinjay Malang. There my friends ate the famous duck menu.
Next to destinations Hawaii Waterpark Malang. Here we have to let go and have to bite the finger because the time is not sufficient. But no matter what I’ve ever set foot here.
After I hunting photos outside this area, the team Surabaya finally team combined Pesona Indonesia Team and to continue the journey to the village of colorful Jodipan and Kampung Biru Arema.
This colorful village Jodipan according to the story that this is a village that is less eye-catching, but because the effort of some students who have creative ideas make this kampung known by the eyes of the world.
Kampung Jodipan is a village that was initiated by eight students majoring in Communication University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), headed by Nabila Firdausiyah. This group of students took the corporate social responsibility program of the paint company to realize the village. They initially get the task of practicum Public Relations 2 from lecturers, then this group who joined in Guys Pro who had a brilliant idea to turn this slum into colorful.
Many the foreign tourists who come to visit the city of Malang requires themselves to visit Kampung Jodipan Malang. And, For those who like to hunting photos, one of the scenes that I think is good is when there is a train that crossed the railroad that became the background of Kampung Jodipan. To be able to photograph like that must be patient to wait train pass every 30 minute. The best view of the photos can be taken from the bridge connecting Jalan Panglima Sudirman and Jalan Gatot Subroto, not far from the Great Malang Station, the landscape is more like Izamal area in Mexico, Nyhavn in Denmark, St. John in Canada or even Cinque Terre in Italy.
After I was satisfied to see the colorful village of Jodipan, I went on to explore the Blue Village of Arema which is opposite. Uniquely this kampong is all blue like Aremania typical color, fans of Arema Malang.
The sky began to darken, indicating we had to move destinations, such as the marathon we had to hunt time in order to get good photos in the next tourist destination, Malang Night Paradise. Malang Night Paradise is located one area with Hawai Waterpark Malang but different operational hours. at Malang Night Paradise we were treated to a variety of rides with attractive appearance with superior knick-knacks colorful lights.
With a concept similar to Batu Night Spectacular, and Festival Of Light. This place became a new tour in Malang because it opened only on June 19, 2017 ago. The presence of Malang Night Paradise is of course a fresh breeze, especially for the citizens of Malang are thirsty for night entertainment. No wonder if Malang Night Paradise many recommended to be a night tour in Malang that must be visited. Moreover, Malang Night Paradise is among the first in Malang with lanterns of colorful rides and has a unique shape-unique. There are hundreds of lanterns with different shapes and characters, ranging from large animals, flowers, and cartoon characters or characters. Day 2
After waiting @joeadimara_ until the early hours and was finally able to rest quietly in Kampung Batu Lumbung. This is the first time I bring a laptop on the way soon, because the previously somewhat traumatized when one set of DSLR cameras and lenses have ever gone on a trip.
However, since the obligation of making home works like proposals thesis and some tasks and associated requires me to bring a laptop in the trip this time.
Yesterday the Pesona Indonesia Team stay at one of the inns with a very amazing panorama at Batu town in addition to the Hotel Jambuluwuk, namely Kampung Batu Lumbung. This one’s the homestay not only brings a unique lodging concept, but also brings the concept of natural attractions that will make the visitors happy to linger stay at Kampung Batu Lumbung. Even in the complex there is also aKampung Batu Lumbung concept of homestay cabin for the backpacker. This cabin plan greenstay with rural themes.
