Because experience stays forever

People visit a place, hang out and then leave, but there is one thing that always stays: Experience

I like to share my experience that i have had at any eatery. With absolutely no specific preference in terms of cuisine and location, i love to visit an eatery and have an experience of being there and eating its best food.

I have visited many places and i have had Chinese, South Indian, North Indian, Italian, Gujarati and many other kinds of cuisines. My experiences have been a mixture of good and bad. I know how it feels when you have absolutely no idea what you are about to get into when you visit an eatery to have food.

A small story (literally!): My family does not go out a lot, but whenever we do we expect to have a nice time. Taste buds also have their own expectations specially for a guy like me who skips his lunch to eat extra dinner at a restaurant. So one day, we went to a restaurant - not sure if i should name it - that serves South Indian cuisine. We did not know how the place would be in terms of parking, waiting time and taste. We simply went there because we had never been there. The experience was horrible. We had to wait for 1 hour with my Grand Mother getting pissed because she has her medicine scheduled to maintain. The place was a bit compact and taste was nothing like what we had expected.

Since then i have always wanted to know if it were really possible to share your experience and to get an idea about what to expect. One fine day, i started to share my review on Google Maps and later i started to upload photos too.

Every time i post on Google Maps, i try to make sure to cover all the points to let others know as to what to expect. Google Maps gives every person a power to share what they really feel like. I genuinely feel that me sharing on Google Maps is more realistic than restaurants actually sharing with people. When i share, i write about experience as it was. On the other hand, when a restaurant shares, there is a high chance that the restaurant has edited some information or it has an intention to mislead people.

For example: A restaurant may say that it has a capacity to arrange for a function of 150 people but the reality may be a lot different. A building owner may say that the building has 4 elevators but the building owner may never mention that 3 of them do not work at all.

Just the way i have now started to share my experience, i have also started to read what others have experienced. I Google it and go through a couple of reviews to understand others point of view. People did not have a common point to get information about various places, but now they do have such a place.
