Yukon, also known as Yukon Territory is one of the northern Territories of Canada, an area of rugged mountains and high plateaus. It is bounded by the Northwest Territories to the east, by British Columbia to the south, and by the U.S. state of Alaska to the west, and it extends northward above the Arctic Circle to the Beaufort Sea.The biggest City in Yukon is Whitehorse with a population of about 2500 people. With snow capped mountains around it most of the year, the cit cater to the entire territory. Yukon college, soon to be a university is the only higher education institution in the territory
