I am not a very professional photographer really but every once in a while I get a nice click which I often share here on connect. I don’t post very often here on this board but I try to contribute and interact on all the boards on connect as best as I can.All my photos are mobile and very often not much editing is done. I often have to compress it if necessary to suit the size of photos on connect which is 2.8mb I think,aside that no much editing which am happy about. I love all things natural

Now what I like about this photo

I like the colour blend and the perfect timing of the day and place. There are are at least four different colours in it that I like. Maybe more but 4 is of a great importance to me and the reason I took the shot.

  • Blue sky
  • The white clouds
  • Green trees and other plants
  • The Earth orange/red

I took that shot at about midday and the sun wasn’t too bright or dull. It was just right timing. This road and route I travel every month for a week. I stopped for a break at this particular spot and enjoyed this scenery wow, it was so nice.It leads to the North Eastern region of Liberia the country of my missionary assignment for the year. It leads to Bong County and Lofa County. I spend about a week in the countryside mission every month and I enjoy it. Its a good break from the city noise and fumes and stress and pollution etc.

Other countryside things I like

  • The freshness of the vegetables and fruits
  • I like the clean air which is good for the lungs and body in general.
  • I like the communal life. Everyone knows each other and care.
  • I like the quietness there usually are not many cars going and coming. Hence the level of air pollution is very low.
  • The humidity and temperature level is very low compared to the city life. There are lots of trees around
  • I love to hear the birds and crikets sing at night,oh I enjoy it.

The list could goes on, but I will not weary you with more details for now. Do you enjoy the countryside side as well? Perhaps it’s the city life you prefer? Whichever please kindly tell us in the comment box below if you don’t mind. Thank you. I am leaving the region tomorrow to return to the city. I’ll miss it but I’ll be back there again.

Hi @SholaIB …That’s a lovely post…! It sounds like you really enjoy visiting the countryside, and getting out of the hustle and bustle of city life. I am glad to hear that you appreciate what the countryside has to offer, and that you are always looking for ways to document your experiences.
