The first thing that comes into our mind when we think of Africa is wildlife safari. My holiday to Kenya was one of a lifetime and memorable experience, my first encounter with wildlife. I have watched all the animals who resides there only on National Geographic or Animal Planet channels on TV, but it is much more than that to have a live experience.
Arrangements were excellent. Our driver cum guide was a wonderful and experienced person. Most of our Safari lodges were inside the forest . Food was fantastic. Even one day in Masai Mara we had breakfast in the wild. Visited a Masai village to see how they conduct their lives in this 21st century. Still they stick to their tradition.Even today they drink fresh blood from the cow to stay healthy. Remember they never kill animals to eat. If you are lucky like the way I was then you can see all the big five in Masai Mara- – Elephant, Leopard,Rhino,Buffalo and Lion
What an amazing experience out in the wild.
Africa has enthralled travellers for centuries, be it Kenya, Tanzania,Okavango Delta, Ethiopia, Botswana or South Africa.
The jungle always have their mysteries and we humans must respect the wonderful ecosystem which is very much prevalant too. People must understand that the natural world is important, valuable, beautiful, wonderful,an amazement and a pleasure for our survival too.
The gladdest moment in human life, is a departure into unknown land and exploring them. So we must learn to explore the world by striking a balance in the ecosystem to save the earth from global warming and further destruction.
