Olexandria is an arboretum in the city of Bila Tserkva in the Kiev region of Ukraine. State Arboretum of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Monument of landscape gardening, founded at the end of the XVIII century. One of the largest parks in Eastern Europe. The park is an example of landscape park composition, which is based on plants, architectural structures, sculptures, the water surface of the Ros River and ponds. The park is located at: Kiev region, the city of Bila Tserkva - 13 (the main entrance is the city of Bila Tserkva, Alexandria Boulevard). Director: candidate of biological sciences Galkin Sergey Ivanovich.
The territory is a floodplain terrace of the Ros River and is characterized by a flat slope of the terrain to the river. The relief is complemented by the presence of three beams that extend almost in the meridional direction. In the composition of the plan and the stylistic orientation of the architectural volumes and structures, Alexandria has common features with other parks of a romantic style. The style of architecture is late classicism.

It looks just amazing! I would like to visit it once again if I come there. Those parks are a big treasure for the country. One of my favourite that I’ve visited in Ukraine is Taras Shevchenko Park. It will stay in my heart forever.
