During my recent visit to Xiamen, Fujian Province in China. We had the opportunity to visit “Tulou” (translated as earthen building in English) an UNESCO World Heritage. It’s an amazing building architecture of a circular configuration surrounding a central shire and it’s a unique rural dwellings to the Hakka clan in the mountainous areas at Fujian in 12th to 20th centuries. However, currently only “employed residents” live and trade in the Tulou just for tourism purpose. Yongding Tulou with 4 floors and 400 rooms is the most famous among others.
