The wild Taiwan blue pheasant(Swinhoe’s pheasant), the endemic to Taiwan. “hey! It is NOT blue”. Yeah, indeed. Because it is a female pheasant.
These photos are taken at Fushan Botanical Garden (福山植物園) on May, 03. 2020. In the remote mountains area, Here is protected by the Taiwan Forestry Researcher Institute for thousands of species of plants and wild animals.

Could you please tell us more details about the garden? Are the animals separated or walking between the visitors? Is there an entrance fee?
Hi @Petra_M , Those are a wild animal and they will keep a distance from people (maybe 20 meters apart from the trail). Of cause, harassing or feeding those animals is prohibited, thus I use 200mm lens to take those pictures. To visit this garden, the visitors need to sent the application in advance. To protect the environment, only 500 visitors can enter the garden per day. And no entrance fee is needed.
