This post is about Svaneti region of Georgia. I am visiting this amazing place with my family (wife and 2 kids) almost in every Summer time. You can see very old houses, Traditions, medieval time churches and beautiful watchtowers here. Nature is fantastic - almost like it was in medieval times in Georgia. Fresh air full of oxygen and delirious home made food (especially “kubdari”. you have to try it)
It is very Unique – gorgeous, wild and mysterious at the same time. Preserved by its long isolation, it is an exceptional example of mountain scenery with medieval type stone villages and tower-houses. Ushguli – Unesco world heritage site is the highest permanently inhabited Village in the Europe over 2000 meters above the see level. Nowadays, it is becoming popular tourist destination center. I would highly recommend everyone to visit Svaneti at any time.
