Beautiful Taiwan mountains

I am a foreign expat living in Taiwan. When I fist arrived here I could not wait to go and explore the mountains outside of the cities. I have always been a great lover of the outdoors.

When I arrived there were not that many useful websites/blogs etc to guide me, and Google maps was not as awesome as it is now.

The first few times I just took the scooter and went blindly through the mountains. With my headphones in my ears and wind in my face I took my scooter and rode until my ass could not take it anymore.

I took lots of photos as I was not used to the subtropical forested mountains.

Soon after I joined Google local guides and I made a point of posting beautiful scenery photos of places in the mountains that not many people have seen.

I think more people should experience the outdoors and the fresh air and the stress relief that goes along with it. I think if people stumble across some of my photos, they could use google maps to guide them to these places and they could then also experience this euphoria.

I would like to ask other people to do the same. Lets get other people out of the polluted cities and into the green.

Taiwan has so much more to offer, once you leave the grey.
