At an Altitude of 2,970 Meter, Tumling is a small village lying on the Indo-Nepal Border while going from Maneybhanjang to Sandakphu in the Singalila National Park, Darjeeling. Most trekkers take a day Stoppage here to enjoy the best hospitality of local homestay specially the ethnic Nepali food. The Lodges and Hotels here offer most of the basic facilities specially free wi-fi though one shouldn’t expect luxury here. Amidst the Lush Green meadows, this Place offer beautiful Sunrise with majestic view of the Kanchenjunga Mountains. The place is difficult to access by wheelchair, the man made roads are accessible by only the Legendery 1960’s Landrover, Mahindra Bolero and 4x4 SUVs . A small Monastry is there uphill to spend some time and Chilly winds. A small Tea Shop is also there.
