I had an amazing opportunity to works and live in the Seychelles for 4 months in 2016, and having some spare time away from my project explored the entire island, island people where amazing and very friendly and made allot of friends! if you would have a travel bucket list, Seychelles needs to be right op top of it.
Accommodation depends on your taste could be very expensive, I went with self catering and lived of fresh fresh from the villages that was caught daily with plenty curry spices to created a magical local dish.

@ChrisZambia Seychelles seems like a paradise. I saw a documentary about this place two years ago and I like so much. Please, can you share more about your experience in this place? Is true that in the islands some places are dangerous?*
Hi @SilvyC , paradise can not explain it, I have traveled to 19 countries and by far is the Seychelles the most amazing and beautiful place on earth!! I was there in 2016 for 4 months on a project, 1st month there I had to wait for customs to release my project stock so I had an entire month to explore the island. I stayed in a self catering guesthouse near the Four Seasons resort. with that I bought fresh fish every day from the villages that was just caught also. I rented a small car on he island, the island is extremely mountainous and you need to be 110% fit if you would like to do it on foot.
To buy meat on the island is very expensive and also dining in restaurants also very expensive, after all this a purely a tourist destination. People are very friendly and the entire island has that lay back feeling where nobody is in a hurry. for dangerous things there is no predator animals on the island, maybe a couple of spiders to look out for. Also minimal crime on the island, what we call petty crime, maybe pick pocketing.
You must make it your mission to go and visit the Seychelles, warning you just would not want to leave that island!
Thanks a lot @ChrisZambia you did a perfect description for me and for all here. It will be to me a place to visit, one more in my bucket list. Wow 19 countries! Amazing.
